About Sovix
Sovix is a social network for people who make things. It exists so that unfinished work has somewhere to go that is not a portfolio.
Why it exists
Most networks reward the finished thing: the case study, the launch, the announcement. That is the least useful part of the work. The interesting part is the version that did not work and the reason it did not.
So Sovix is built around posting mid-process. Reactions are specific — Insight and Celebrate mean different things and cost the same one click. Comments sort by usefulness before recency.
How it works
- Spaces are small rooms with human moderators, not algorithmic categories.
- Feeds sort by time by default. You can switch to Top, and it stays switched.
- Audience is set per post and can be changed afterwards.
How we make money
Subscriptions from spaces that need larger member limits and moderation tools. There is no ad business, so there is nothing to gain from keeping you scrolling.
Who builds it
A team of eleven across four time zones. We publish a changelog every Friday and read every report filed through the help centre.
