Capabilities
Per-request routing
Every prompt is scored against your rules before it leaves. Set the quality floor; Zentic spends the least it can to clear it.
Automatic failover
Health checks every second across twelve providers. When one drops, the next model answers in under 40 ms on the same schema.
Hard spend ceilings
Caps per team, per key or per feature. At the limit Zentic downgrades, queues or returns a 429 — your choice, enforced in-path.
Prompt versioning
Each edit is a commit with a diff, an author and a one-click rollback. Promote from staging when the numbers hold.
Evals on live traffic
Sample a slice of real requests, grade them overnight against your rubric, and get alerted before support notices.
Regional data pinning
Choose where metadata lives. Prompt bodies are dropped by default; retention is opt-in with a window you set.
Response caching
Identical prompts inside your TTL return from cache at 4 ms and cost nothing. Semantic matching is optional.
One SDK, twelve providers
Same call signature everywhere. Swap providers without touching application code or re-testing your schemas.
Budget and drift alerts
Route notifications to Slack, PagerDuty or a webhook when spend, latency or quality crosses a line you drew.
Comparison
What you delete when Zentic goes in.
Most teams have already built a thin version of this. It is usually about 3,000 lines nobody wants to own.
| Concern | Rolled by hand | On Zentic |
|---|---|---|
| Choosing a model | Hard-coded per feature, revisited quarterly | Scored per request against your quality floor |
| Provider outage | Pager, then a manual config push | Automatic, under 40 ms, same response shape |
| Cost control | A dashboard someone checks on Fridays | Hard ceilings per key, enforced in the request path |
| Prompt changes | A string in the repo, shipped with a deploy | Versioned, diffed, promoted and rolled back on its own |
| Quality drift | Noticed when support tickets rise | Nightly grading on sampled live traffic |
| Data residency | One region, hoped for the best | Pinned per workspace with an exportable audit log |
